The Alma is a mixed-use development set on 4.67 acres of land in Ruaka, Kiambu County.  The Alma comprises of 477 apartments, a club house, retail outlets, car parking lots and elevated landscaped terraces. The apartment block layouts are arranged along the perimeter, thus freeing up the centre to form a series of internal courtyards that are elevated above the car parking level.  These are detailed with a variety of hard and soft landscaping elements with its end punctuated by an elliptical pool and club house.

Below the club house are a series of convenience retail stores, designed to cater for the residents needs.  Most of the apartments living spaces are designed to overlook the landscaped courtyards below. The building façade is characterized by plastered and painted walls, punched and framed windows in bedrooms and utility spaces, floor to ceiling windows in the living rooms, and clear glass balcony balustrades.  Each building block has an accessible roof terrace for use by residents as a break out and recreational space.
