Situ Village is a 29-acre exclusive, Mixed-Use, Gated Community Development. It is located within the lush suburb of Karen adjacent to the Ololua Forest. The development consists of 55 villas, 10 townhouses, 5 cottages, a community center offering a variety of retail outlets, a convenience store, clinics and a nursery/day-care center, a clubhouse which is complemented by a variety of lifestyle offerings including a community loop jogging track, a forest walking trail, a pool and multi-purpose games court.

The concept was derived from the name which was influenced by the context – the desire to create the penultimate village-like community. The building components are arranged along the slopping site in a terraced formation, with primary living spaces laid out overlooking the Mbagathi river valley and forest beyond.  The Architectural language consists of a play of pitched “hut” like roof formation inspired by its name;- situ village. The adopted architectural styles for the development are mostly Andalusian and Mediterranean themes, these are characterized by clay tiled roofs, a play of roughly dressed stone, earth color painted plaster, and exposed timber elements and accents.
