In Nyarutarama, Kigali, we received an opportunity to design another landmark address; Harrington Golf Residences. It is situated at the center of a comprehensive community, where world class health and education facilities, exceptional leisure and wellness experiences, with close proximity to an airport and premium retail and lifestyle destinations.

The curvilinear layout of the residences allows them to fit well in the site and environment, giving a sense of dynamism and flow. In elevation, you get to observe stepped terraces which cascade, perfectly blending with the city of a thousand hills, in turn allowing the facility to nestle in its environment.

A drop-off is situated at the back of the apartments, allowing one to interact with a cantilevered courtyard terrace upon entrance. This space facilitates an interactive and recreational venue for the apartments and town houses that are on either side, having a relaxation deck and infinity edge pools. There is also surface and basement parking to cater to th residents.

The development is divided into five phases, comprising of 100 residential units: eighty-six luxury apartments and fourteen spacious townhouses. The apartments are designed into 2,3 and 4-bedroom layouts, while the townhouses are on two floors with 4 bedrooms, including a family room. The project aims to emphasize modernity and luxury bringing out the Art Deco style. This is characterized by the open living spaces and floor to ceiling windows of the houses, which give a sense of transparency and visual connection from the interior to the exterior. This also allows ample natural sunlight to be received by the living spaces and bedrooms of the apartments, which have been oriented to face the expansive views of the 18-hole Kigali Golf Course and Vision City in its background.
